
The main thing the Jeep has going for it compared to other Hellcat powered vehicles is all wheel drive. It comes with a 700 pound weight penalty but it is not like anything with a Hellcat V8 is light to begin with.
Predictably, the Jeep rips the Challenger out of the hole. The Challenger has to try to run it down and it closes the gap but the Jeep is ahead at the finish line. A roll race would have been great to see.
Essentially, traction wins. The video goes to show the Jeep Trackhawk is not to be taken lightly from a stop.
The second video below shows the Trackhawk launching and it hooks up well off the line. It hits 60 in 3.6 seconds. The transmission also shifts impressively with quick, crisp gear changes.
They do a couple GPS runs and get 12.0's out of it it in the 1/4 mile. Not bad but not all that great for 707 horsepower compared to what else is on the market in the performance SUV sector.
