• Hellion gets over 800 rwhp out of the 2018 Mustang GT Gen 3 Coyote V8 with 11 psi from their twin turbo kit

Just add a turbo kit and 11 psi of boost to a 2018 Mustang GT and almost make 1000 crank horsepower? Yes, yes indeed. That is exactly what you are viewing here. The new Gen 3 Coyote V8 with its dual-injection fuel system is showing incredible efficiency.

Part of that comes from the boost in compression ratio from 11.0:1 to 12.0:1. This results in Hellion running less boost than they previously could but making more power per psi:

In a 15-17 car we can run a little more boost because they have less compression. With this car we have to run a little bit less boost, but the final result is really good power.
It is indeed very good power:

Now, it took Torco 108 octane fuel to get there which was said to be used for tuning safety but it would be great to see what this could do on pump fuel and E85.

For $8995 this twin turbo kit is hard to beat. It does take some things on top of just the kit to hit these numbers though namely an upgraded fuel system:

      Bassani 3-inch cat-back exhaust
Fuel Injector Clinic 1,000cc port injectors
      JMS FuelMax fuel pump booster
Hellion Eliminator twin-turbo system with 62/66 Precision turbos
HP Tuners custom calibration by Eddie Rios/Addiction Motorsports
      Torco 108-octane unleaded fuel
Turbosmart eBoost 2 boost controller w/ four-port solenoid option

Oh, and this is all through the stock automatic transmission too.

      Simply phenomenal numbers.

Is this the new 10-speed auto?

I love Mustangs. For less than $50k, you could have a 1,000HP brand new car. Amazing.

edit: maybe $55K with labor. I had in mind GTs were $30k. They’re closer to $37k with the auto.
