    • Throw a 2.9 liter Whipple on a Shelby GT350 Mustang Voodoo V8 and make 786 rwhp on 91 octane pump fuel

This is not news but just a reminder that if you give the incredible Ford Mustang GT350 5.2 liter Voodoo V8 a bit of boost it goes a long way. As a matter of fact, last year Lethal Performance made 819 rear wheel horsepower with just 11.5 psi of boost on the Voodoo V8 from a 2.9 liter Whipple.

That was on E85 ethanol. This result you see below with a 2.9 liter twin screw is on 91 octane pump gas and what they say is low boost:

It is a bit surprising to see Whipple use such an unflattering graph but you get the point. You can make a ton of power on pump gas with a blower and the Voodoo V8.

Is that it? I'm guessing an exhaust, and obviously a non-stock intake and retune...but other than that, is all stock inside? If so, that's incredible. And we have 93 by me...

You can't throw a blower, a tune and exhaust on a 5.7 LS motor and make almost 800 wheel, no matter what. Breathing is king.

sooooooo, They also did cams, pistons, rods, clutch, oversized valves, port and polish on the heads and supercharger inlet/snout, then sprinkled it with magic fairy dust to get these numbers?

the percentage gain against the baseline is phenomenal. Too bad I hate/suck at driving stick, This power combo could be a hoot to drive, and they aren't even starting with the GT350R.

Definitely looks to be a fun set up. I’d be scared running 91 though.

If this car had a DCT it would be wrecking everything. The manual sucks a lot of the potential away but it's a true driver's car.

Yeah, Ford wouldn't know what to do with themselves if they had even a $#@! tier DCT to put in the GT350.

Do you have any updates/info on other mods the car has? is this JUST the blower and 91 octane and maybe injectors? I'm sure you read my question when I asked it the first time, but I'm sure asking it again will make information magically appear.

Anyway, well done ford. Another good N/A engine for not too too much. beats the hell out of my 6.4L Hemi that explodes with more than 6 psi of boost.

I'm pretty sure just blower, fuel system, and maybe an exhaust.

Should be some info here: http://www.boostaddict.com/content.p...e-power-on-E85
