    • Here's a nasty 1034 wheel horsepower twin turbo 2nd gen Cadillac CTS-V from Weapon X Motorsports

Is ditching the 6.2 liter LSA V8 factory Eaton blower for a big pair of turbos a good idea? What site are you reading? Yes it is! Weapon X built a mean V2 CTS-V that makes 1043 wheel horsepower along with 1010 lb-ft of torque at the wheels.

That is recorded on a Mustang dyno and not a number friendly Dynojet. Topping 1k hp on the Mustang means, well, this thing is insane.

Now what are the specs? They do not share too much. The turbochargers are a pair of nicely sized Garrett units. Weapon X also utilizes the factory blower housing. Beyond that and the cost? They do not say.

If you want one, you know who to call. The numbers speak for themselves.

Yeah this thing is sweet. They gutted the factory supercharger and lid and put a huge intercooler in there.

Here is a thread with more pics of the intercooler: http://www.ctsvowners.com/forum/109-...r-project.html

They teased that it would be an intercooler upgrade for a supercharger project for like 2 years before revealing that it was a turbo project lol.

I know I saw more details on the turbos and some pictures Ill have to look for them.
